Introduction
This guide details how to change the Node address of the controller on the same Chain in the database. This may be required post configuration of a Chain.
Example
Node Address 1 needs to be Node Address 9 (2)
Node Address 9 (2) needs to be Node Address 1
1. Firstly, you will need to power off both Nodes and the DC controllers.
2. Change the addresses of both Nodes on the hardware using the dipswitches of Node 1 and
Node 2 :
Node 1 = Address 1
Node 2 = Address 9
3. Run SQL Management Studio, open the multiMAX database and Edit the dbo.NodeTable. If
the Chain is a LAN Chain then double check which one is the first Node in the Chain from
Install > Node in Symmetry. Change the NodeAddress column to the correct value.
